We have been learning all about how to classify organisms into vertebrates, invertebrates, nonflowering plants, and flowering plants. We would love to show you our research!!

are vertebrates ?

Vertebrates
are animals with a strong backbone. Like a cheetah, sharks, red-tailed hawk,
frog and an
Alligator. Vertebrates do not make their own food. They must get energy from eating plants
or animals.
Cheetahs are
vertebrates with a very strong backbone.
The incredible
invertebrate
Invertebrates
have no backbone, some have shells and a hard xo-skeleton. Some have stingers,
some don’t. They can’t make their own food. They are consumers. Some lay eggs,
some don’t.

Examples
Some
examples are Gasses, roses, oak tree, fruit tree, and tomatoes.
A rose starts as a seed but grows Into a flower.
Flowers make their own food by the sun; they
contain seeds, flowers, fruits, and petles.
Nonflowering plants
Group members: Ashton, Ishmael,
Julia, Millie Kate, Devin
Examples:
Some of the
types of nonflowering plants are pines, spruce, ferns, mosses, and lichens.
Physical
characteristics: No flowers, it is a plant, It can be a tree, it carries CO2.
This Oak Tree is a plant, It has no flowers, And It carries
CO2.
