Math-We will
continue using the U.S. customary system of measurement to make conversions in
problem solving this week!
Reading-We will continue our BOOK CLUBS and mini-lessons through the novel
Shiloh as we look at character traits, story elements, foreshadowing,
predictions, and inferences. Book club reading will count as 100 BC. Book
Clubs have been a hit, and check your

ELA/Writing-In Writer’s Workshop, we will continue looking at “on-demand” writing through different strategies to best prepare for the upcoming ACT Inspire Writing Test.
Social Studies-We are finishing our unit on government this week as we review and
test on early leaders and political parties. We will begin learning about
Westward Expansion!
Science- We are continuing our unit on weather as we review and test on
clouds, the water cycle, and weather conditions/tools. We will begin
researching and learning about severe weather this week!
