Classroom Communication

Hi Parents!

I want to make sure that you are informed about everything happening in your daughter's classroom this  year, and I will strive to communicate with you in the way that best meets your needs and fits the 21st century world that we live in :) Here are the ways to communicate with me, receive updates, and learn about all of the exciting things happening in room 402 this year!

• Check out my classroom blog for weekly updates, pictures, extra credit opportunities, and more!
• Look for a weekly newsletter and graded papers going home on Monday.  
• Follow our class on twitter.com with our class screen name @mrsburns19girls for pictures and tweets from the student of the week!
• Sign up for our Bloomz account to receive quick updates on parent/teacher conferences, classroom announcements, volunteer opportunities, pictures, etc. See information below! 
• If you would like to receive text updates of quick classroom announcements to your cell phone, you can sign up for "Remind Me." See information below!
• You may always email me at chelsea.burns@spartanburg2.k12.sc.us or call me at (864) 814-3870 ext. 4402, and I will get back to you as soon as I can!

What is Bloomz?? 

Bloomz is a new app that works both on your smartphone as well as on your

computer. You will receive quick updates and photos of class activities, be able

to access our class calendar, and more. All in a private and secure environment.

Here is how to join your class:

1. Go to bloomz.net and click “Join Bloomz”

2. In the text box, enter X2G6CA

3. Create your account

What is Remind Me??

Remind Me is a way to receive quick classroom updates from your teacher by getting a text message sent to your phone. 

To receive messages about our classroom via text, text

@921b9 to 81010. You can opt-out
