Ride the Weekly Wave:
Math-We will introduce
fractions this week!
Reading-We will continue our unit on POETRY this week as we have
mini-lessons analyzing various Christmas poems and songs throughout the week!
ELA/Writing-In Writer’s
Workshop, we will be finishing our tall tales, looking at sentence structure, and
writing a Santa Clause story!
Social Studies-We will continue learning about six key battles of the American
Revolution and incorporate our poetry unit by writing haikus about each battle!
Science- We will continue learn about what causes tides, constellations,
and shadows through hands-on activities! We will also get to look through a
telescope and have a Christmas lights STEM activity this week.
