"Third Week's the Charm"

Check out some highlights from our week together!

The girls did an AMAZING job creating our butterfly for our Choose Kind PBL wall in our classroom!  Each girl had a part in creating it, and the butterfly represents the "butterfly effect" that kindness has when it spreads! Our essential question is-How can one act of kindness change the world??

For our "Wonder Wednesday," we also looked at this Butterfly Wonderopolis at how far butterflies can travel to help us understand the butterfly effect of kindness!

We are in the process of building our Native American homes, so stay tuned for the final designs and some student blogging about the process!

A huge thank you to all of the parents who donated supplies!! We couldn't have made them without YOU!

We created blueprints and presented information about each Native American region before building!

Throughout our Choose Kind PBL unit, we have been "graffiti artists" recording quotes that inspire or challenge us.

Here are my Clemson girls on College colors day!!

Just a little friendly competition between the cocks and the tigers with some terriers in the middle...

College Colors Day!

We have been using mentor texts along with the novel Wonder to find character traits with text evidence

We have also been practicing our Greek/Latin root -cor meaning "heart" integrated with Wonder, and we will test those vocab words this upcoming week.

Last but not least, here's a little Fun Friday video!

What a fun-filled and productive week we had, and I can't wait for more adventures with my favorite girls!!
