Watershed-What's with the Weather?

We took a visit to the Wonder Room to explore all about WEATHER! This was an exciting introduction to our upcoming science unit.

Check out the wonders that we asked and what we learned...

What is the water cycle?

What is the difference between weather and climate?

What causes warm fronts and cold fronts?

What causes tornadoes?

What does a meteorologist do?

What are example of weather tools? How do we use them?

How do we use what we learned about weather, maps, weather tools, and weather symbols to make our own weather forecasts?

The girls are creating their own weather forecasts everywhere from Hawaii to Australia and Antarctica!

Emma is exploring "tornado avenue" on her map.

Girls and Parents,
Post a comment below or write in your agenda answering any of the above questions or what you learned about weather from our Watershed visit for a one night HW pass! :)
