Weekly Wave:
Math-We will continue
our unit on fractions this week as we practice multiplying fractions and whole
numbers!
Reading-We will begin a new unit by learning about finding and proving the
author’s purpose within a text and studying fables!
ELA/Writing-In Writer’s
Workshop, we will be looking at “on-demand” writing through different
strategies to best prepare for the upcoming ACT Inspire Writing Test. We will
also look at using verb tenses and test on homophones and verb tenses.
Social Studies-We are continuing our unit on government this week as we compare
the Articles of Confederation to the Constitution through some hands-on
activities! We are testing on Friday.
Science- 3-2-1…BLAST OFF! We are continuing our Astronomy unit as we wonder
and learn about what causes seasons and what causes day and night??
